Small on purpose

Stemhollow has no shopfront and no delivery fleet. It is one florist, a cold room, a work table, and as many orders a day as one person can make properly.

Buying small

Flowers are bought two or three mornings a week, in the quantity already asked for. Nothing is held in stock hoping it will sell, which is why the fresh listings describe a style — a wrap, a jar, a single variety — instead of a fixed recipe.

Dried grasses, stoneware vases, the brass frog, the mister and the candles are different: those sit on the shelf, so they can be posted whenever you order them.

Substitutions

If a variety is not good enough on the morning it is needed, it is replaced with something of similar value and character. Any swap is written into the emailed quote, so you see it before you agree.

Why there is no checkout

A fresh delivery needs a date, a reachable address and someone to receive it. A card form cannot check any of that. Sending the basket as an enquiry means the reply can confirm what is in flower, quote the delivery honestly and offer real dates before money moves.

Who you are buying from

The florist's full name and studio address are published here as soon as they are verified. Until then every enquiry is answered personally by email through the contact form.

Independent florist working alone, working from a small studio. The exact delivery area is confirmed by email before you pay. Messages are answered through the contact form.

Ordering

The basket is an enquiry

One florist buys, makes and delivers everything here, so the last step is always a person writing back rather than a card form.
