Delivery

Two kinds of delivery
Fresh wraps and arrangements are hand-delivered by the florist, so they are limited to the studio's own delivery area. Dried stems, stoneware vessels, tools, candles and letterbox flowers are packed and sent by tracked post and can travel much further.
Whether an address is covered
The fresh delivery area is confirmed in the reply to your basket, before any payment is agreed. If a fresh delivery cannot reach the address, the reply says so and suggests a posted item instead. Nothing is charged in the meantime.
How delivery is priced
Delivery is not included in the prices on this website. For hand delivery it depends on the distance; for a parcel it depends on size and weight. Either way it is calculated for the destination and confirmed in writing first, and you are never charged a fee that was not in the email.
Dates and timings
Fresh work is made on the morning it goes out, so the date is agreed by email; same-day is only possible when the flowers are already bought. Posted items are dispatched within 1-3 business days of payment, with transit usually 2-5 business days. Letterbox flowers are cut in bud so they survive the journey.
If something goes wrong
Tracking is emailed when a parcel is handed over. If a parcel is late, damaged or missing, or flowers arrive in poor condition, use the contact form and it is handled under the freshness and refunds policy.
Seller
Everything here is sold by the florist who runs stemhollow.com, contactable through the contact form.
