Terms of sale

Who sells the flowers

Everything on this website is sold by the florist who runs stemhollow.com. Enquiries are handled through the contact form.

Prices

Prices are in US dollars and cover the item only. Delivery, and any taxes that apply, are stated in the emailed quote before payment.

How an order is formed

Adding items to the basket and sending a request is an enquiry, not a purchase. The reply confirms availability, delivery cost and possible dates. A contract exists only once you accept that quote and payment is completed. A request may be declined if the flowers are unavailable, the date cannot be met, or a fresh delivery to the address is not workable.

Seasonal substitutions

Fresh flowers depend on the market. Photographs show the style of the work rather than a fixed set of stems, and handmade stoneware varies between pieces. Where a stem is unavailable it is replaced with one of similar value and character, and any change is written into the quote before you accept it.

Payment

Payment options are agreed individually by email. No card details are entered on this website and no payment is processed here.

Delivery and risk

Delivery terms are in the delivery policy. Risk passes to you, or to the recipient you nominate, on delivery.

Cancellation and freshness

Cancellation, freshness and refund rights are described in the freshness and refunds policy and sit alongside your statutory rights. Cut flowers are perishable, which is why that policy replaces a normal returns window for fresh items.

Liability

Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury or fraud, or restricts consumer rights that apply to you by law. Flowers are sold for decorative use and are not food; some stems and foliage are harmful if eaten, so keep arrangements away from small children and pets. Candles should never be left burning unattended.

Governing law

The seller's country and state of establishment, and the law governing these terms, are published on this page as soon as the seller details are verified. Until then the consumer protection rules that apply where you live are unaffected.
